How does release begin?
The current owner proves wallet control, and the installer creates a local device key. Before requesting a transaction, the interface explains that release permanently spends the NFT’s single release right.
What happens after confirmation?
The release service verifies the confirmed on-chain event, current ownership, package commitment, and device key. It then wraps the entity data key to that device key. The owner’s machine performs the decryption.
What does the protocol control?
The protocol controls one canonical release from a sealed NFT. It cannot revoke files that a previous owner already decrypted, and it does not provide digital rights management after release.
